About the Foundation of Goodness.
The Foundation of Goodness is a registered NGO with over 25 years of experience working to bridge the urban-rural divide in Sri Lanka. Our flagship venue and project headquarters, the Centre of Excellence and Sports Academy is situated in Seenigama (Galle District) with a further 20 Village Heartbeat Empowerment Centres, island-wide.
Despite struggles brought on by the Tsunami in 2004,, Covid 19, and the Sri Lankan Economic Crisis, the Foundation of Goodness was able to deliver a wide range of programmes to over 1,000,000 beneficiaries from 1000+ villages across Sri Lanka, free of charge.
Lockdowns ad other barriers to work during the Covid-19 pandemic followed by the economic crisis in Sri Lanka destabilised many lives and incomes, and in the aftermath, many families are struggling to keep their head above water due to loss of income and sky rocketing inflation.
We offer a selection of projects designed under 5 empowerment divisions by the Foundation of Goodness to secure both the long and short term needs and development of under-served communities, helping meet their most urgent requirements while also building the foundation for their future success and prosperity.
